Revenant’s ultimate ability is by far the most interesting of the bunch though, as you might expect. The Death Totem can be used in a variety of ways, but first and foremost it should be used to ambush opponents that are holed up in a central location - usually inside a building. Essentially Revenant places down a Death Totem, and any players - ally or enemy - that touches it will enter Death Protection mode. As soon as their health falls low in this mode they will be teleported back to the totem with half HP. As long as you place the totem in a safe place outside of grenade range and inside the ring, then this is a great ultimate ability which suits many situati

There are plenty of girls who want to be princesses, and this isn't to discount any of them. However, there’s something inherently uninspiring about those classic depictions of Peach. Innately, we understood Mario, Luigi and even Bowser. We grew with them and became part of their journeys. But for much of the Super Mario Bros. series, Princess Peach wasn’t much more than a cameo in someone else’s narrative.

It’s easy to imagine that the team behind the game turned Peach into a playable driver because it wanted to honor the history of _ Super Mario Bros. _ while attracting more female players. But even decades later, it stands to reason: If Mario can be a frumpy everyman, then why is the only expressly female character option someone’s dainty dream woman?

_ Red Dead Online _ also lets players customize their characters. Instead of trying to turn my character into a cute cowgirl stereotype, I again wanted to create someone fun and unique. So, I made my character an elderly woman with rough skin and messy red hair. Again, she may not have been beautiful… but she’s certainly someone who looks like she has a story to tell.

Apex Legends starts every match with a team of three jetpacking down to the map out of a dropship. One team member is selected as the "Jumpmaster" who gets to decide when to jump and aims where to land. If nothing is happening, it means you might be the Jumpmas

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds is often touted as the pioneer among all battle royale video games these days as it popularized one of the most popular modes of gameplay in gaming history: proving you're better than everyone else by killing them. Such an experience couldn't be contained in just one gaming platform and thankfully, PUBG branched out to the consoles and even the mobile gaming sc

Play the PC and then the mobile version of PUBG and it's easy to see where the development strayed off too far. Since the mobile version is a free FPS Game Tournaments, it has tons of cosmetic features and other annoying advertisements to make up for the price

Although many would agree that Counter-Strike 2 isn't the most difficult game to pick up, it is tremendously hard to master. As a game with an online focus, its most elite players will lay beginners to waste with certai

It's fine when games aim for realism, but that should never come at the expense of having fun. As rational as the concept of fall damage is, it never translates to anything meaningful in a gaming experience. Even FromSoftware - the master of having your character die as a result of irritating fall damage - eventually saw the error of its ways and made Sekiro, a game where you jump around like a samurai sword-wielding Ma

If you’re waiting on a team to burst out of a door and rampage, or an enemy team is about to get stuck in a building because of the closing ring, throw the silence projectiles at the doorways to block their exit. Even when it comes to an enemy team moving away from you in retreat, shoot projectiles at doorways or generally in the direction they’re moving - do this regularly and that tiny bit of damage from the projectile will eventually get you a kill or two, I guarantee

Whether you're roleplaying as a super soldier, heroic knight, or even a cartoon bear, it can be deflating and embarrassing to see your protagonist crumble to the ground in a heap from a fall. Do you mean to tell me that this burly, super-powered character who's supposed to save the entire world can't handle a crash landing? Sounds like a wimp to

His passive ability is Stalker , and is great for those players that wish to stalk their opponents first. This makes your crouched walking speed much faster than any other legend, meaning you will be able to literally stalk enemy teams - though unless you’re focusing on stealth (pretty rare in this game) this is not guaranteed to be of much help. More useful though is the fast-climbing ability that Stalker also gives, which allows Revenant to scale buildings faster, and climb higher than other legends. This gives him mobility which is only beaten out by Pathfinder’s grap

The maps often have variable terrain and no one tactic or weapon will work in all situati
