Incarnate will last until killed or Grid-Based Combat ends. Once the player character reaches level 10 in summoning they will summon a giant Incarnate Champion instead that deals 50% more dam

Orin the Red by Valf.cosWhile the Rogue does not typically excel in the center of a brawl, they are incredibly adept at picking targets and isolating them. Try to focus down on enemies in isolation and those on the fringes, ideally disengaging and moving away from larger clusters of foes after the damage is done. Given the Scoundrel skills that allow cloaked teleportation ability, it is especially helpful to target ranged combatants; the worst-case scenario is that they are forced to displace, sometimes costing the opportunity to shoot at the party, the best is that a threat has been completely elimina

Crossbows should be your main weapon for large damage, but also consider bows if you want to avoid the movement penalty. Be sure to also stock up on different arrows, which can change your elemental damage and cause some status effects. While normally boosting your character’s bonus Civil Ability (Bartering on humans, Loremaster on Elves, etc) is helpful, consider specifically going for Stealth or Telekine

The Shadowblade is one of many pre-made classes in _Divinity: Original Sin II _ , but what should players invest in while playing this class? The Shadowblade is an off-shoot of the rogue class, which is more based in magic. Using stealth and magic, this class can make both a great melee or a ranged figh

For a more stealthy and companion based playstyle invest in Summoning or Aerotheurge. In Aerotheurge, add skills like Blinding Radiance, Teleportation, Nether Swap, Evasive Aura, Uncanny Evasion, Blessed Smoke Cloud, and Smoke Cover. In Summoning, add skills like Conjure Incarnate, Elemental Totem, Cannibalize, Door to Eternity, Dominate Mind, and Summon Inner De

Elemental Arrowheads is a good way of further diversifying your damage since you can use any nearby surfaces to change or increase your damage. Ricochet is a good way to attack multiple enemies in one attack. Last, pick either Poison Dart or Contamination , depending on your race and party setup; particularly if you are an Elf like Sebille, who can make blood surfaces with Flesh Sacrifice. For first Talents go for Elemental Affinity to lower your AP costs or Elemental Ranger for more damage against enemies standing on surfa

While it is truly a mix-and-match system, there are ways to maximize abilities to fit an archetype, filling out a valuable role in the party. For some, the best place is on the front lines as an armor-clad knight, for others the back lines as a spell-slinging sorcerer. Some, though, prefer to mix it up, to strike from the shadows, and leap back into the dark as soon as the damage is done, keeping the enemy ever on their toes. Aim to get to level 10 or as close as possible. Extra EXP can be acquired by exploring all of Fort Joy, including hidden passages, caves, and waterways. Complete all remaining quests, even party related ones, or ones added through updates like the Four Relics of Rivellon . Kill every remaining enemy and NPC, even if business has concluded with them. This can include the undead merchant Zaleskar in Hollow Marshes from Ifan and Sebille’s personal quest, Slane the Winter Dragon, the spectators at Fort Joy Arena, Griff, and his gang, neutral or deceived Magisters, NPCs introduced from Gift Bag updates, and more. One can also get an EXP jump by beating Dallis and Alexander while they interrogate Atusa at Fort Joy’s entrance, though that fight becomes inaccessible after entering Hollow Mars
