The lone DCEU movie coming out in 2021 is James Gunn's The Suicide Squad . Gunn's take on Task Force X has been described as neither a sequel to the 2016 Suicide Squad or a reboot. The R-rated film will be something of both, it appears, as it includes familiar and new characters. Returning characters include Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie), Rick Flag (Joel Kinnaman), Captain Boomerang (Jai Courtney), and Amanda Waller (Viola Davis). Some of the new faces that appear in The Suicide Squad are Bloodsport (Idris Elba) and Peacemaker (John Cena). The Suicide Squad is coming out in theaters and on HBO Max on August 6, 2
From my perspective, then, there's only really one decent thing Riot could do in this situation. For over a month, the public has rebuked Seraphine's existence. Her in-canon profiting from genocide, her insincere and creepy Twitter account, and now, the fact that she's very likely based on a former employee's ex. This character has been deemed unacceptable by fans and casual observers alike, so in my opinion, it's time to do away with her entir
Players can use a few of these attacks in combination to do increased damage against enemies. One option is to use Unstoppable Force, then wait until the very last second the enemies are in the air from the attack and use Ground Slam. This will maximize damage and inhibit enemies from dealing quite as much damage to the team. For another potential combo, players can cast Flash, then use Unstoppable Force to travel farther and appear unexpecte
At the end of last year, Riot Games announced an effort to expand the League of Legends IP beyond its MOBA roots. Acquiring and partnering with several third-party studios, Riot Games' new initiative for its 10th anniversary has spawned a League of Legends fighting game, a popular FPS called Valorant , a collectible card game called Legends of Runeterra , and even a business/management sim for lol best mages esports. The League of Legends universe will soon reach far beyond the base game into a ton of new gaming experiences, a sentiment that Respawn Entertainment recently expressed with the hit battle royale Apex Legends as w
The SPUMC's first sequel arrives in 2021 with Venom: Let There Be Carnage . The sequel to 2018's Venom brings back Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock aka Venom and will see him face off with Cletus Kasady aka Carnage , played by Woody Harrelson. The movie will also bring back Michelle Williams as Anne Weying. Naomie Harris is also part of the cast and rumored to be Shriek, another villain and love interest for Cletus. Venom: Let There Be Carnage is directed by Andy Serkis and has a June 25, 2021 release d
With so much superhero content on the way, Hollywood studios stake out release dates for the highly-anticipated titles years in advance. However, that doesn't mean that everything always goes according to plans. 2021 was at one time going to include many films that no longer are coming out this year. Matt Reeves' The Batman starring Robert Pattinson was pushed to 2022 following extensive production delays from COVID-19. The same is true for Marvel Studios' Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness . Dwayne Johnson's Black Adam was scheduled for a December 2021 release too, but it lost that release date in late 2
While Horizon Zero Dawn was brilliant, brutal, and beautiful in cold futuristic Colorado, Forbidden West travels to brand new locations that expand beyond anywhere the first game dared go. Everything shown is this trailer manages to capture that unexplored feeling, while offering players beautiful environments, shots of underwater exploration, and daunting new machines that capture the imagination. Simply put, the trailer is one of wonder and adventure. Aloy says herself, "there's nothing I wouldn't do to save this world, no depth that I won't explore, no secret I won't unlock, and no barrier I won't cro
There is no doubt that the story trailer for The Last of Us 2 deserves praise. It is gripping, brutal, horrifying, and beyond emotional. All of that should come as no surprise, however, because the game itself could be described with the same wo
All of these abilities look good with all of Lissandra's current skins, but they would look even better with a Legendary skin, especially if it's part of a skin line with a history of great particle effects like the Star Guardian
Shaco is League's Demon Jester, and he can be incredibly annoying to deal with because of his throwing knife, invisibility, and traps. The traps go invisible too, but once an enemy walks up to one, it fears and shoots them. When Shaco pops his ultimate, he creates a clone of himself that bursts into traps when it runs out of hea
By doing away with the character entirely, Riot could come down on the right side of this. Instead of sticking their fingers in their ears and pretending there isn't a problem, this is an opportunity for the company to show it actually cares about its players. It's an opportunity for them to forgo a few million on top of their billions, and to actually help soothe harm done to a real person. It's also an opportunity for them to retire their abhorrent marketing strategy for Seraphine, which would do a lot to garner goodwill and help win back people they might have alienated. Sure, it's the path of least profit, meaning that they likely won't do any of this. However, from the perspective of moral imperative, it's the only right course of action to t
