Although fans did get to see some of their favorite players showcase their skills, it were the lesser-known teams that made names for themselves. Gen.G will likely be one of the favorites in every tournament they play now. MouseSpaz took down Team Shroud twice, and traded punches in a very close game against Team Brax in the loser's bracket fi
Considered by many to be the most difficult among the roster, Cypher relies upon a player's understanding of the map and their enemies' tendencies. Orbital Strike is Brimstone's Ultimate Ability and it allows players to perform a laser airstrike using a tactical map. This laser deals a massive amount of damage to all players inside it with more damage occurring the closer a player is to the center of the str
Shadow Step can be used in combination with Dark Cover or Paranoia to allow Omen the chance to flank or close the distance on his enemies. By throwing Dark Cover into the desired location or in a troublesome choke-point, Omen can teleport inside the cloud allowing him safe and almost free access to whatever location he wants. Similarly with Paranoia Omen can impair an enemy's vision, teleport into the given room and then freely clear the room or escape from a tricky situation. Shadow Step is not nearly as effective by itself as it is in combination with his other abilities. Learn which combos work the most effectively to maximize your efficiency with the charac
The trio of crashies, AZK and brax, along with cs:go team comeback stars Tyler "Ska" Latham and Jonathan " EliGE " Jablonowski dominated their opposition this tournament, proving themselves worthy of being some of the first pro VALORANT players signed to a team. The first of Cypher's moves are the main staple of his playstyle and that is his Trapwire. As the name implies, Trapwire operates as a powerful trap to place throughout the map. When using the ability players will need to attach the long string-like wire to two close walls. The event also saw some teams lose their matches due to the mismanagement of their economy. Even for pro players who have been spending the last month or so playing the game non-stop, VALORANT is hard. It's a game that's easy to grasp and hard to master. Finally, Cypher's ultimate, Neural Theft is a rather complicated but interesting move. When Cypher approaches an enemy team's corpse, he can utilize Neural Theft on the corpse. When the ultimate is activated it grants Cypher the ability to locate all of the Enemy team's silhouettes for a short second. This ultimate provides similar utility as the Marking Dart but on a larger scale, granting a Cypher ability the ability to scout and call out the enemy team. However, this move can be difficult to pull off, as it requires Cypher or his teammates have defeated an enemy player, but when the condition is met, this is one of the strongest ultimate in the g
