Battlefield 6 New Game Crazy Ideas

Battlefield 6 New Game Crazy Ideas

One area in particular that Battlefield definitely doesn’t need to focus on is the single player content. In fact, the franchise would frankly do better without it entirely. Arguably, the last good Battlefield single player story was Battlefield 1 , and even then, the campaign took a back seat to multiplayer just like every other modern Battlefield game that preceded it. Classic Battlefield titles are fondly remembered for their multiplayer experiences, and even though games in the past have had endearing characters like in Bad Company , they just haven't been exceptional. Multiplayer should be Battlefield 's primary directive, improving trademark modes like Conquest whilst implementing something new as w

One of the defining aspects of Battlefield since the beginning has always been destruction. The mechanics have iterated and changed over the years, but in more recent titles in the franchise, destruction seems to have unintentionally become less important. Games like Bad Company and Battlefield 3 used to employ destruction in a functionally relevant manner, making the mechanic an integral part of the environment design. Playing Rush in Bad Company 2 generally meant blowing holes into M-COM stations to breach and set a charge, or even take the whole building down if that's more via

Battlefield has had an issue in the past with destruction not having any recognizable impact on gameplay. Previous titles like Battlefield: Bad Company 2 used to integrate the capability of destruction into its level design, which is partially what made Bad Company 2 one of the best games in the whole series. Games like Battlefield 3 onward tried to replicate the importance of destruction in different ways, but the "Levolution" mechanics ended up being lackluster in comparison. Alternatively, a higher player density in multiplayer games could make games like Conquest a bit more strategic with squad placements. Any capability to add more players on screen/in the lobby is perfect for Battlefield , which thrives on simulating large-scale warf

Consider 2017's Battlefront 2 , a Star Wars property that borrows many of the same gameplay elements from Battlefield . There was an undeniably dedicated amount of work put into the singleplayer story of Battlefront 2 , and Battlefield2042Hq.Com yet it was one of the lesser portions of that game. The Star Wars franchise is (more or less) known for engaging storytelling, but for a main IP like Star Wars ' Battlefront to have a story mode that's largely ignored or glossed over, it shows that EA's shooter gameplay carries itself over an engrossing storyline. Battlefield doesn't even have an established ethos or universe to draw from like Star Wars , so another story campaign in Battlefield likely won't do well unless it's revolution

While Modern Warfare has been wildly successful, Battlefield V hit a slump. The game was underwhelming and did not release enough content to keep players hooked, and its battle royale, Firestorm , definitely did not live up to expectations. It's safe to say that Battlefield V put the series into a bad place, and it'll be interesting to see if the next Battlefield game can revive the series. DICE and EA may be able to make a comeback, even with the hyped release of Black Ops Cold War later this y

If anything, the changes made in Battlefield 3 's weapon customization served as a basis for what was to come. At the time, Battlefield 3 's rival was Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 , which was still utilizing its tried-and-true weapon customization that was introduced and refined in the previous Modern Warfare titles. Every weapon in that game was constrained to one attachment unless players selected the "Attachments" weapon proficiency that allowed for two attachments. Balance concerns likely would've been the main concern with allowing more than one/two attachments per weapon, especially in tandem with the perk selection in the game's multipla

That being said, this is just an interpretation of the next-gen prototypes shown in EA Play Live earlier this year. EA and DICE have confirmed that a new Battlefield game (presumably Battlefield 6 ) is headed for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, and currently has a 2021 release window planned. Occasionally rumors have come out about the next Battlefield game, some of which have been proven false , others have no evidence or backing. Overall, it'll be interesting to see what's truly in store for the once revered shooter franch

Older Battlefield titles likeBattlefield 3 had customization that was the closest thing to Modern Warfare 's Gunsmith before it existed. Gunsmith emphasizes Call of Duty 's desire not to compromise player preference with improper balancing. Even though there's been a few examples of overpowered guns/class builds, out of almost 50 guns throughout the entire game, it's crazy to think how balanced the weapon pool is with Gunsmith. Battlefield 6 would do well to observe and emulate the freedom achieved with Gunsmith's implementat
