Fortnite: 10 Things Fans Hate About The New Season

a yellow trophy surrounded by black and white cupsPro Fortnite players can build incredibly fast , but the same can't be said of everyone. Building is also a problem because casual players and those new to the game often struggle with it, which puts them at a marked disadvantage compared to experts. There's not much they can do against someone who can make a gigantic structure within seconds to provide nigh-impenetrable cover, or to trap them and shoot them like fish in a barrel. Building is more than a little complicated, often requiring split-second decisions and a quick mouse hand. It can put newer players off and is a skill best evolved through lots of repeated practice, serving almost as a form of gatekeeping for those who just want to have fun in a battle royale instead of having to construct massive structures on the fly in their pursuit of a coveted

Now more than ever, players are encouraged to stay out of the storm, and the new chapter makes sure of that. One of the worst habits Fortnite players have is getting so caught up in defeating enemies that they forget the storm is nearing, but the storm's damage is now at an all-time h

There also isn't much reason not to at least have building as an option, especially since it's such a big part of the game's identity. It's vaulted a lot of good weapons and features, like the Sticky Grenades, so it doesn't need to get rid of something that helped it become the game that it is today. Fortnite could outlast other battle royale games for a long time if it does things right, so it needs to be careful with its permanent changes. Getting rid of building forever doesn't seem like it would do the game much good in the long run, and if it hadn't introduced Zero Build Mode, then players may have ended up demanding that **Fortnite ** return its signature feature eventua

Doctor Strange was recently added to Fortnite , but his DC counterpart may be the more interesting choice to join the game. Doctor Fate was first introduced in 1940's More Fun Comics #55 , predating Marvel's Sorcerer Supreme by many years. Kent Nelson first became Doctor Fate when he and his father discovered an ancient tomb belonging to the Mesopotamian deity, Nabu. Though Kent's father was killed by the tomb's poison gasses, Nabu took in Kent and trained him in the mystic arts and transforming him into Doctor Fate, one of the world's greatest sorcerers. The character has since appeared in both the DC Animated Universe and the Young Justice animated series, with a big-screen appearance in the DCEU next in l

Jonah Hex can also go up against Batman in Fortnite , mirroring one of the character's most popular comic book storylines. Titled Hex , the limited series saw Jonah Hex being pulled into the 21st Century. Eventually, he is hired by a criminal gang to hunt down Batman, before the two realized they were on the same side. Jonah Hex is also a perfect fit for Fortnite's shooter gameplay. As a bounty hunter and former soldier, Jonah Hex would be able to easily familiarize himself with Fortnite 's wide array of firearms. This could help Jonah Hex to feel like a more natural fit within the game than characters such as Superman and Wonder Woman, who wouldn't use the weapons that Fortnite off

With the crouch and slide actions being controlled by the same button/joystick, some players are still finding themselves accidentally sliding when not meaning to. While sliding has been some players' favorite addition to the game, others find it unnecessary and even annoying when their character slides unpromp

On page two of the Fortnite Super Styles Battle Pass, there is a more gothic style variant of the Evie skin, with a black skirt instead of her vibrant red pants. Additionally, players will be able to unlock the Tover back bling alongside a bright blue weapon wrap, which fits in with Evies original style option. Finally, there is also a selfie emote up for grabs where the like count just keeps on increas

Everyone wanted to be a part of Fortnite's global domination, so whenever a new limited-time item was unvaulted, every gamer wanted to use them - making some very memorable and positive moments for fans. From the Marvel Cinematic Universe's very own Infinity Gauntlet to a deadly scythe that channeled its energy from another universe, Fortnite 's limited-time items give fans more of a reason to continuously return to the game and offer hours of enjoym

By removing building, Fortnite changed in a big way, arguably for the better. One improvement is that it made games faster. It might be easy to die in Fortnite , but living to see the end takes a while. Building can bog down matches by dragging out gunfights, as well as requiring players to gather large amounts of materials. They may spend more time gathering wood from trees or metal from mailboxes than they do in the actual combat. All of it slows down the game quite a bit, so Zero Build Mode allows for quicker games that don't require as much time or energy. Although it might defeat the purpose of pickaxes a bit, that's not as much of a problem due to their dual purpose as melee weap
