The prime example that comes to mind is The Black Armory from the "Season of the Forge." This was something built up as offering players a special kind of new weapon to chase via a new kind of public event. Both of these claims were true, but unfortunately the forge events wound up being overly grindy (and poorly balanced at first), and the weapons largely weren’t worth the effort. Successive seasons have had similar struggles, but not to the same degree and were largely successful.

The following months also weren’t kind to Destiny 2 The Final Shape 2 and its fans. First, fans starved for meaningful content wound up being sorely disappointed with Curse of Osiris thanks to lackluster rewards and the reality of what the "Infinite Forest" actually was: a technologically-impressive loading zone. Go to Mercury and talk with Brother Vance again. He will have tasks for the players to complete as well. Complete his four quests: A Shattered Future, In His Footsteps, A Disciple’s Plea, and Better Days Ahead. Turn in the quest to receive the D.F.A Hand Cannon and head to Mars.

Succession is all the more impressive when taking into account its perks. Reconstruction keeps the gun loaded to double its magazine size, and Recombination makes it so that getting kills with the game's various elements stacks a damage bonus up to 100%. This gun can also run with Focus Fury and Firing line, making it a great pick for sustained damage on Champions and minibosses. The gun is also incredibly easy to acquire in Onslaught , and can be target farmed at Zavala, as well as acquired from its original source, Deep Stone Crypt. Both options for this gun are great, especially for players who want a slower and more deliberate rifle than The Suprem

On September 4, 2018, Bungie released Forsaken, the first major expansion for Destiny 2. From this moment onward, the game changed for the better. Just as The Taken King saved the original Destiny, it’s likely that Forsaken saved Destiny 2. With its launch, many of the inherent problems were done away with. New sub-classes were introduced with new Supers, ability recharge times were tuned to align more closely with how they were in Destiny 1 and Randomly rolled loot was back with even more ways to earn it. On top of all this, Two new locations were added, there were more secrets similar to the excellent "The Whisper " secret exotic quest from Warmind tucked away for players to find, and it was all capped-off with "Last Wish," one of the best raids in the series to date. With Forsaken, Destiny was finally back, and many fans were feeling happy.

It’s new expansion time with Bungie rolling out Destiny 2: Forsaken this week and with it comes all sorts of changes that might as well be an entirely new game...OK maybe not entirely. Forsaken does change quite a bit, though, and if freshly coming back or starting up these little list of helpful tips should set any Guardian on the right path to taking it easy while enjoying the most of Forsaken; this is not an end all be all just some things noticed in the initial first few hours that will make getting through The Reef and the rest of the galaxy easier when taking down the big bad Uldren.

Players that want a Kinetic Sniper Rifle should look at The Supremacy to see if it fits their needs. It's an incredibly varied weapon, with perks that work in PvP while being one of the best Snipers in PvE. Perks like Fourth Time's the Charm and Rewind Rounds extend ammo economy, and Bait and Switch adds 30% to damage so long as players use every weapon in their arsenal beforeh

In the stream following the reveal of Forsaken, Bungie’s representatives took some time to do fans a "favor" and better explain what exactly will be included in the Annual Pass. Put simply, it will consist of new challenges, new gear, new lore, new challenges and new events. It all sounds good doesn’t it; as if they’ve finally found a way to keep new content coming outside the major expansions? Except that just about all of this is content that, even as recently as this past April, was all offered free of charge. To some this change might not seem like a big deal, their likely reasoning being that Bungie shouldn’t have to work for free. That’s true. They shouldn’t and they never have been. They’ve always been paid for it through the microtransactions offered through the Eververse cash shop. What’s more, acquiring funding for these "free" updates was and is the entire justification for having the Eververse in the first place .
