DecemberEvery Savathun’s Eyes Location in Destiny 2 (& How to Destroy Them)
Since its launch in the fall of 2017, Destiny 2 has led an interesting life that it turns out is going to extend far beyond that of its predecessor. A couple of weeks ago, Bungie revealed their long-term plans for Destiny 2, announcing major expansions for the game going all the way into 2022 at the very least. Instead of being on its way out, Destiny 2 may indeed only be halfway through its lifespan. With that in mind, perhaps now is a good time to look back and see how the game has grown since its dismal launch week.
Those hoping that the Bungie-Activision split would result in decreased monetization are in for a rude awakening. Destiny 2 pushed things too far, but Forsaken managed to make things a bit fairer. With the release of New Light and Shadowkeep , however, monetization in Destiny 2 has been taken to a new, confusing level.
In terms of overall builds, Hunters may want to consider relying on sheer speed to secure their targets as fast as possible. For instance, Snapshot Sights and Moving Target are great for getting into combat quickly, as both Traits boost ADS time - especially while mobile. Another interesting Trait includes Box Breathing, which boosts damage when waiting at ADS before firing - perfect for those who want to commit to the sniping r
_Destiny 2 _ 's Season of Arrivals has players hunt down 50 bright blue orbs throughout the planets and moons for the Hive-God, Optometrist Triumph. These orbs, known as Savathun's Eyes must all be destroyed for the Hive-God. This task can be daunting due to how widespread these items are, but not impossi
Aiding players greatly is its White Nail, an Exotic Perk that not only grants this weapon high precision damage at the base but also refills the magazine when landing three quick precision hits. As such, Whisper of the Worm becomes an incentivizing weapon for snipers who don't want to reposition often and can take advantage of its extra sh
"Armor 2.0" is perhaps the biggest foundational update that Destiny 2 has seen since Forsaken, as it both reintroduced the old stats from Destiny 1 and gave players a means to craft their own character builds via mods and randomly-rolled stats. Following this, Season of the Worthy hosted the return of every Crucible fanatic’s favorite mode: Trials of Osiris. There are still balancing issues and such to iron out of course, but at this moment it’s probably safe to say that Destiny 2 has finally surpassed its predecessor in just about every meaningful way. It’s still a different game of course, but that difference is no longer a bad thing.
Endless Vale, another Vex-themed map, is bordering on being a bit too small for 6V6. Those who might not enjoy the chaos of it might find it too claustrophobic, and prefer it in 3V3 where the classic middle peek at the beginning of the round is bound to get someone sni
Succession is all the more impressive when taking into account its perks. Reconstruction keeps the gun loaded to double its magazine size, and Recombination makes it so that getting kills with the game's various elements stacks a damage bonus up to 100%. This gun can also run with Focus Fury and Firing line, making it a great pick for sustained damage on Champions and minibosses. The gun is also incredibly easy to acquire in Onslaught , and can be target farmed at Zavala, as well as acquired from its original source, Deep Stone Crypt. Both options for this gun are great, especially for players who want a slower and more deliberate rifle than The Suprem
An embodiment of Xol, the Will of Thousands, and one of the horrifying Worm Gods , the Whisper of the Worm is a terrifying Sniper Rifle in both its appearance and ability. Matching its rather unsettling "infected" appearance is an impressive stat array with high impact, range, and aim assista
If players can now carry their rewards wherever they go, it seems unlikely that they have anything to be upset about, right? Unfortunately, there are still some major hoops that Destiny 2 players will have to climb through to get everything from this event. Once players complete the grueling grind to a glowing Magnificent set of armor, they do not automatically unlock the ornaments to match. In fact, players only unlock the right to buy the ornaments from the Destiny 2 Future 2 Eververse store. What’s worse, the cost of the ornaments put them above and beyond nearly everything else available in the st
In addition to the monumental effort required to simply afford the ornaments, players are also upset about one specific task required to activate the glow on their shiny new armor. Once players have earned their Magnificent sets, one of the tasks necessary for the glow is to achieve seven wins in Trials of Osiris . This high-intensity PvP mode is widely considered to be the most skillful form of Crucible in Destiny 2 . Many lower-skill players tend to avoid it entirely due to the time and ability required to achieve the best rewards. While Bungie may be trying to bolster the population of the mode to improve matchmaking balance, Trials contains a myriad of other problems as well. In the past, Bungie has responded to negative player feedback like this with on-the-fly changes to make the goals easier, so that may happen this year as w
