If you're like me and usually seem to have a rather large bounty on your head, then you might need to make (or loot) a quick buck. If you're in the vicinity of Fort Wallace, then head West, cross the river, and go up the mountain pass at Window Rock. You'll find some cave paintings. Arthur will make a note of them in his journal, and from there, cross the river and head just Southeast of the "I" in Ambarino on the

Now, reading the title of this entry, you might not think that getting flowers for a dead woman is revolting per se; leaving flowers on graves and memorials is a common and loving thing to do. But, John quickly finds out that the man’s wife isn’t dead and buried — she’s just dead. And sitting in a rocking chair in the corner of the god damn kitchen. While this could be seen as a testament to the man’s unyielding love for his wife, I believe it falls into the realm of frontier madness. And even if it is all in the name of love, it is still revolting to have a rotting corpse propped up in your ho

What a low move to actually make assassin’s more powerful. The only thing saving the squishies before was the power of supports. Take away their power and they’re useless yet again against that gap-closing assassin. Is this what you want, R

Is the truth really out there? At least in the Red Dead Redemption universe, that seems to be the case. If you have no idea what I'm talking about, just head between the "N" and "O" of New Hanover on the map, and you'll come across an old building. Inside, you'll be met with a pretty weird scene. There are beds lining the sides of the building, with a desk at the end. On the desk lies a note, which rather cryptically hints for you to come back to the building, or stay there, until about 2

GTA IV had a great multiplayer mode, but the greatest thing Rockstar did was release two single player expansions for the game. Red Dead Redemption received a fantastic standalone adventure in Undead Nightmare, and GTA V got nothing. Instead, Rockstar focused on improving the game’s online after launch, going so far as to launch it as its own separate product. Rockstar has been putting more and more focus on multiplayer modes, which is a shame because their stories are some of the best in the industry. The move away from single player content could completely change what Rockstar is about, we want them to continue making the games they are great at making while innovating as they have been for ye

Best part of this meme though? His brother, the only one who could never mistake him, walks in on him. That and the fact that Renekton is the "evil" brother. Seeing the evil brother (imagine Loki) dressed up like Sona is so comical that we want this to be a skin. Please, Rito, make this a real skin. Definitely Not Renekton, ma

maxresdefault.jpgThe game gives you two options: warn the reverend so that he can move on alive and well, or kill him for a pile of cash. It’s as simple as walking up to the reverend (who will greet John in a cloyingly friendly manner), and use whatever facet of John’s arsenal to put the reverend down in the street like a dog. Even though it’s the Wild West, popping a reverend was —and still is— considered a bit shocking, to put it ligh

From its Morricone-inspired score to even the physical similarities that John Marston shared with Eastwood's iconic Man with No Name, The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly is a no-brainer to watch when selecting Western films, but a crucial film to explore the genre and one that arguably defines the visual styling of the Red Dead series.

Red Dead Redemption is one of the best video games ever made. It's not up for debate. Rockstar took the wildly successful Grand Theft Auto open-world formula, threw it in the tumultuous Wild West, and made the story more engaging than "drive here, shoot them, drive back." Some may still dismiss it as GTA with horses, but they are dreadfully wr

As the oldest of the entries here, there wouldn't be a list of Western films complete without at least one entry from the extensive canon of legendary fish locations Western actor John Wayne. However, among all of the actor's work in the Western genre, The Searchers (from director John Ford) still ranks tall among its all-time greats, and is certainly worth a watch for those looking to hop into Red Dead Redemption 2 .

In the town of Armadillo, you’ll find a woman who pleads with John to find her son whose been taken by the people in the hills. If you investigate the area he was last seen, you’ll find a shoe and puddle of blood. Come back to Armadillo, and this time a sobbing man will ask you to find his wife who went missing in the same area. Again, you’ll the same scene, this time with a large fork next to it. Back in Armadillo for the third, and final time, a woman will ask you to look for her husband, who, you guessed it, went missing in the same a

GTA V in its original state hit shelves in September of 2013. The next generation version came roughly a year later, with the PC version hitting in early 2015. Rockstar has been gradually updating GTA V online since then and working on Red Dead Redemption 2 . Rockstar is known for taking a long to release games, but five years between projects is long, even for them. When GTA IV released in 2008, Red Dead hit only 2 years later in 2010, which was followed by GTA V three years after that. The company must have known what their next game would be for some time. Maybe this prolonged development cycle is another sign that the game is in a very rough state and the delay is for more than just pol
