NovemberHow To Beat The Elder Jinchi Boss In Black Myth: Wukong
Rock Solid will grant you a parry ability that can be incredibly useful in a lot of different situations, but if you aren't completely confident in your timing, you'll either end up paralyzed or take the damage without the time to dodge . There are a few bosses where having the ability to counter their attacks using Rock Solid can make them significantly easier, but there are a few other bosses where Rock Solid will not be a viable option. You'll also need to master Mana management since having a parry ability relies upon using a spell, which means that you might try to use this ability when it's either on cooldown or you're out of M
Luckily, this massive beast is not too much of a challenge, especially since you'll get some help from the Yellow Wind Sage in the latter half of the fight. However, the difficulty is not what makes this boss impressive; instead, it's the spectacle and scale of the encoun
Dodging forward at the correct time will avoid this attack, but be wary of the delay. Another way to perfectly avoid this attack is to immobilize the boss during the animation, allowing you to dish out decent damage.
Proceed ahead until you reach the Snake Trail Keeper’s Shrine. As you've done before, interact with it to make it available for fast travel. Next, ascend the stairs and take a right turn before crossing the bridge. A cutscene will play, where an old man gives you a Blessed Gourd. This device will help you gather green wisps more efficiently and allow you to claim Spirits from some of the tougher opponents in the game.
Proceed along the narrow, tucked-away path, and you will come face-to-face with Guangmou , the second boss of the Bamboo Grove region. After a quick cutscene, the battle with Guangmou will begin. This boss is tougher than the frog, with a variety of attacks, including summoning snake-like creatures from the ground that throw poison at you. Most of his attacks can be neutralized by spinning your staff , but be mindful of your stamina.
Ring of Fire , as the name suggests, creates an (unfortunately quite small) ring of fire around The Destined One and grants him a few perks when he's standing inside. The main issue is that enemies can still enter the ring and still damage you. You, of course, get to enjoy the buffs when you're in the ring, but because of how frantic combat is in Black Myth: Wukong, there are few opportunities where you'll be in a position where you can stand still long enough to actually appreciate this. There are some niche chances where this skill might be the best option, but it's not worth keeping this spell equipped to find these rare mome
The Yellow Wind Sage gets tricky during this first part of the fight by occasionally mixing up his combos. He can skip the second part of his typical melee combo and go right for the overhead slam, for example. It's important to watch him carefully and only attack when you've definitely got an opening (after the overhead slam and after the third wind blade, for example.) Another good time to attack would be after using Rock Solid to parry an attack, or after you knock the Sage over with a heavy attack.
The only optional spell throughout Black Myth: https://blackmythwukongzone.com/Posts/my-wild-ride-hunting-venom-daoist-in-black-Myth-wukongWukong is arguably the only one that isn't actually a spell. Spell Binder , as the name suggests, will block your ability to use any of your spells. Not just this, but also your spirit abilities, vessels, and any transformations. To balance this to make it a viable ability, you'll receive a significant attack boost and, depending on how full your skill tree is, a few other buffs as w
To unlock Elder Jinchi, you will have to ring three bells in Chapter 1. The first bell can be rung after defeating Guanghzi in the Forest of Wolves area. The second bell can be reached right after defeating Guangmao in the Bamboo Groove Area . The third and final bell is found after defeating the Whiteclad Noble near the Marsh of the White Mist Keeper’s Shrine .
After defeating Guangmou , you’ll notice three paths: the one you came from, a path with a Torii gate, and a set of stairs leading upward. For now, take the stairs and interact with the bell — this is the second bell in Black Wind Mountain (Chapter 1).
Be sure to explore the next courtyard and collect everything you can find. There will be another chest here — loot it and continue forward. When you enter the next room, turn to your left to find a giant statue. Interact with its altar to receive the Celestial Jade Lotus Pill . This collectible item will automatically and permanently increase your health, so it’s essential not to miss it as the journey ahead will become increasingly challenging.
Similarly to Rock Solid, your appreciation of Spell Binder will depend massively on how you want to tackle combat in Black Myth: Wukong. By using the ability, you're choosing to focus primarily on pure combat but have far fewer options when taking on tough enemies. However, there's a chance that you'll be able to take them down a lot quicker thanks to the buff. It's worth trying out if you manage to unlock it, but there's a likely chance that you won't want to keep it equip
