"Go Into The West" is the name of the very first episode of this anime series, so it's clear they aren't exactly being subtle about using Journey to the West as their source material. The setting is the fantasy paradise of Shangri-La, which has been disturbed by a wave of negative energy, rising evil spirits, and vicious monsters. A Priest named Sanzo is ordered by the Celestial Heavens to travel to India and discover what has happened and how to fix
The Yellow Wind Sage's most frustrating attack during this phase begins with him running at you and performing a quick kick. If you don't dodge the kick he'll launch you into the air and begin a lengthy and unavoidable combo attack that will usually drain most of your health , if not all of it. Watch for him dashing at you to perform the kick and get out of the way by any means necessary since this attack is a grab and ignores invincibility effects like Rock Solid and Resolute Counterflow .
Dodging forward at the correct time will avoid this attack, but be wary of the delay. Another way to perfectly avoid this attack is to immobilize the boss during the animation, allowing you to dish out decent damage.
To unlock Elder Jinchi, you will have to ring three bells in Chapter 1. The first bell can be rung after defeating Guanghzi in the Forest of Wolves area. The second bell can be reached right after defeating Guangmao in the Bamboo Groove Area . The third and final bell is found after defeating the Whiteclad Noble near the Marsh of the White Mist Keeper’s Shrine .
After defeating Guangmou , you’ll notice three paths: the one you came from, a path with a Torii gate, and a set of stairs leading upward. For now, take the stairs and interact with the bell — this is the second bell in Black Wind Mountain (Chapter 1).
Now, head back outside and continue along the path. To your right, there will be a chest. Open it to collect its loot, and then push forward. Continue until you see a set of stairs leading upward. Climb the first set of stairs and jump down into the water on your left. Interact with the green wisp to acquire some Will. Then, return to the stairs and continue upwards, crossing the bridge, until you spot a small structure on your right. Interact with the golden box there to gather more resources.
Elder Jinchi will yell and put his palm on the ground, causing the ground to explode. The boss can e xplode the ground up to four times . Each burst will cover more area. The boss may also stop after doing just one burst.
After defeating the Whiteclad Noble, there’s a small pathway to the left , leading up to the third bell. You’ll encounter a horde of wolf Yaoguai here. If you’ve rung the previous two bells, Soulslike optimization Issues you’ll be immediately transported to the Ancient Guanyin Temple Secret Area after ringing the final bell.
The general strategy for this boss fight is to stay in mid-range of the boss, get your attacks in, and run away. Most of his stronger attacks have a very short range. If you get hit, attack the pilgrims nearby to heal your health. Watch out for the Ground Burst attack , as you wouldn’t want to get caught in an area where you can’t back off to escape the attack’s range.
After being reduced to around 1/3 of his health, the Yellow Wind Sage will start using some more powerful magic. When he stabs his staff into the ground and begins waving his arms, he will conjure a tornado that slowly follows you around the arena, damaging you and throwing you into the air if you come into contact with it. Since it moves slowly you can avoid it by moving away from it as you continue to fight, remaining aware of its position so you can retreat if it gets too close. Naturally, using the Wind Tamer will dispel the tornado, so use it when it's off cooldown and take advantage of the brief stun to attack the boss.
Based on the original manga by Jōji Arimori, the saga of Monkey Typhoon also consists of 52 animated episodes and can also be found under the original Japanese name, Assobot Robot Goku . When you start the game, you'll be presented with a lengthy cutscene before being thrust into a battle with the game's introductory boss, Erland, The Sacred Divinity . Don’t worry — while he has a wide range of moves and a large health pool, you can easily defeat him, since you can’t die in this fight.
Continue along the path where the boss was located and follow the trail, defeating any enemies in your way. Eventually, you'll reach an area where you can meditate — this is the first of three Meditation Spots in the Black Wind Mountain region.
