NovemberHow to Beat the Yellow Wind Sage in Black Myth: Wukong
This boss, named Baw-Li-Guhh-Lang, isn’t the toughest enemy you'll face in this region. Start by using the Immobilize Spell on him, and then attack by transforming into Guangzhi via the Red Tiles Spell. Deal as much damage as possible at the start to make the rest of the fight easier. Be cautious of his frequent leaps and tongue attacks.
The Yellow Wind Sage gets tricky during this first part of the fight by occasionally mixing up his combos. He can skip the second part of his typical melee combo and go right for the overhead slam, for example. It's important to watch him carefully and only attack when you've definitely got an opening (after the overhead slam and after the third wind blade, for example.) Another good time to attack would be after using Rock Solid to parry an attack, or after you knock the Sage over with a heavy attack.
The other dangerous attack to watch out for here is the Sage summoning Fuban , a huge beetle monster, to perform a body slam. The camera will automatically shift to show you Fuban descending on the arena, so dodge to the side as it's getting close to you to perfect dodge out of the way. You can also back away and dodge to the side to get out of the impact zone, if you aren't confident in your timing.

After his health has dropped by roughly 1/3, the Yellow Wind Sage will start to whip up strong winds browse around here himself while boasting about his Samadhi Wind, whirling his staff overhead. If you have the Wind Tamer , activate it now to stun him and dispel the wind, giving you a huge opening to pummel him with powerful attacks (this is also a great time to use Pluck of Many.) If you don't have the Wind Tamer , you'll have to back off until the whirlwind surrounding him fades. It has a very wide AOE, so back away as far as possible.
They had to choose wisely, as at the end of its stages, they’d face a boss based on Journey to the West ’s heroes. The aquabot Mega Water.S, based on Sha Wujing, would dive and blast Mega Man with water jets. Elder Jinchi will cast the ranged Palm Force attack as you enter the arena. This attack has an infinite range, and the animation is very delayed. Try to Immobilize him right away so you don’t have to worry about dodging at the correct time.
Return to the wooden bridge and continue downwards until you reach a pond-like area. In the distance, you'll notice a man in white clothing standing menacingly. This is the final boss of the Bamboo Grove region , known as the Whiteclad Noble. Approach him to trigger a cutscene, where you’ll see he has a fondness for poetry.
If you find the secret area, you'll immediately have to fight the Tiger Vanguard again, only this time he'll be from the past (and thankfully a bit weaker), but then through a completely different and much more obscure quest line, you'll be challenged with fighting Mad Tiger , who unfortunately might pose more of a threat. By taking down all three of these bosses, you'll get an achievement as consolat
Another melee attack the Yellow Wind Sage can use is a combo that starts by drawing his staff back, causing the bottom of it to glow. He will then swing it forward, before performing a forward stomp, and then finish with a wide swing. This attack is pretty easy to avoid by dodging around to his side and making sure you aren't in front of him.
Once getting to the end of the secret quest line in Chapter 2 of Black Myth: Wukong, you'll be set loose on a massive desert that screams boss arena as soon as you look at it. At this point, you'll have heard about Fuban, and be ready and equipped to take on this gargantuan scarab bee

Continue along the main path and cross the wooden bridge. You'll encounter an enemy in your path — defeat it, and a cutscene will play where you meet another monkey. Don’t worry, he isn’t an enemy; rather, he’s a merchant who sells valuable items. However, don’t follow him just yet. Instead, take the bridge to the left and open the chest to acquire valuable resources.
The general strategy for this boss fight is to stay in mid-range of the boss, get your attacks in, and run away. Most of his stronger attacks have a very short range. If you get hit, attack the pilgrims nearby to heal your health. Watch out for the Ground Burst attack , as you wouldn’t want to get caught in an area where you can’t back off to escape the attack’s range.
